We are honoured to serve at 21 hospitals across Johannesburg and Durban, caring for children in both private and public hospitals.

In short, however you are lead to serve. Whether you choose to donate teddies, volunteer at a hospital handout, launder, knit, sew, repair bears, pack and prepare for a handout, assist a collection, sponsor, or pray for the children and their families - every act of kindness helps us shine gods love into hospital wards and give children a reason to smile.

Yes, we do! Every preloved teddy is lovingly washed, sanitised, carefully inspected, and repaired if needed efore being gifted to a child. We believe a teddy's value s'nt found in whether it's new, but in the comfort, courage and hope it brings. Each one is given a fresh new beginning - and the oppertunity to become a cuddly companion to a critically ill child during the hardest journey of their lives.

To every child who chooses to donate a teddy they onceloved - thank you! Your kindness is a beautiful gift. Your teddy may become someone's greatest source of comfort, and a change in their story.

Every teddy is treated with our upmost care, They are gently and thouroughly washed, layed out in the sun to dry for a minimum of 2 days, fluffed, carefully inspected and skillfully repaired if needed by our bear repair team. They are then sanitized and wrapped with a ribbon - ready to meet their new friend.

We visit hospitals throughout the year, with at least one hospital outreach every month for our B.E.A.R Initiative, alongside special handouts for occasions such as Easter, Nurses' Day, CHD Awareness week, Kidney Awareness Week, Winter Warmer project and Christmas, our special Sunninghill Santa outreach.

Every visit is an opportunity to share God's love, encourage families, support healthcare workers, and give children the chance to step back into their childhood, even if it's just for a few minutes.
